At a time when we're not sure how Christmas will look, and we're facing the prospect of carol services being cancelled for fear of infection spreading, we're offering a free virtual carol concert to celebrate our unchanging God. Airing on Sunday 6 December at 8pm, this hour-long carol service will be uplifting and faith-building. Together we’ll celebrate the hope of the Christmas message with heart-warming Christmas carol singing and Bible readings in a traditional church setting with a contemporary twist.
About Carols with Compassion
If you’re looking for Christmas carol service ideas to help you celebrate Jesus’ birth this year, Carols with Compassion will be a blend of great contemporary Christian music and traditional carols. The fantastic line-up includes:
Festive songs performed by Compassion-supported children and young people.
An uplifting spoken word by Dai Woolridge.
A message on the hope of the Christmas story brought by Richmond Wandera, Compassion graduate and now senior pastor of New Life Baptist Church, Kampala, and the Founder and Director of the Pastors Discipleship Network.
WHEN IS THE COMPASSION CAROL SERVICE?
Carols with Compassion will premiere Wednesday 2nd December, 7:30pm on TBN UK (Freeview channel 65). Then we’re excited to share Carols with Compassion on Compassion Ireland and UK social media channels Sunday 6 December, 8pm. Visit Compassion Ireland’s Facebook and Instagram. Follow us to receive reminders of the broadcast nearer the time and join the Facebook event.
If you’re a church leader, we’d also love to encourage your congregation by offering you a download of the event to share as part of a Christmas service after the 6 December. Please drop our churches team a line to sign up for this.
